• Use our Shuttle Service – The Chilcotin Express Get Here

Due to our very remote location, we offer a shuttle service that will transport you between Vancouver and our Ranch via the scenic Sea-To-Sky Highway or theFraser Canyon.

Our Chilcotin Express is available to our guests, students and staff from April to November.

Once you’ve made it to Vancouver, we then take care of everything. Our Chilcotin Express will pick you up at a designated hotel in Vancouver early morning on the first day of your school and drive you back down to the same location on the last day of your school. For those using Vancouver International Airport, we recommend that you arrive in Vancouver the day before the pick up and depart Vancouver the day after the drop off.

On the way up, the 7:00 am pick up arrives at our Ranch around noon, just in time for lunch time. On the way back, the 1:00 pm departure from our Ranch arrives at the hotel around 6:00 pm.

  • Driving yourself

If you are driving yourself, our ranch is easily accessible by vehicle. It is 5 hours north of Vancouver, 2 hours north of Whistler and 2 hours west of Lillooet.

Summer Access

From mid May through October, we recommend the Hurley Pass. It is spectacular and should be done in the daylight.

From Vancouver, take Highway #99 north to Whistler and then to Pemberton. Drive through Pemberton to the Hurley Pass Forestry Road and turn right. The Hurley is about an hour and a half of good gravel road. When you reach the “T” pavement intersection at the end of the Hurley, turn right. Follow Carpenter Lake for 15 minutes until you see a Chilcotin Holidays sign. Turn left up the hill and continue for 4km until you see another sign. Take the left fork onto Gun Creek Road, then continue for another 4km.

Use caution on blind curves, reduce speed, and watch for wildlife.

Winter Access

The Hurley Road is usually closed during the winter season.

From Vancouver, take the Fraser Canyon (Highway #1) through Hope, Lytton and then Lillooet (alternatively, Highway #99 via Whistler and Pemberton, continuing on the Duffey Lake Road to Lillooet). From Lillooet, go west towards Gold Bridge for approximately 1¾ hours until you see a sign for Chilcotin Holidays (if you get to Gold Bridge you have gone too far). Turn right up the hill and continue for 4km until you see another sign for Chilcotin Holidays. Take the left fork onto Gun Creek Road and continue for 4km. Use caution on blind curves, reduce speed, and watch for wildlife. Allow yourself 6 hours in the Winter.
